Breaking:Conspiracy case; the HC has granted Dileep anticipatory bail | Hot News
The Kerala High Court granted actor Dileep and others anticipatory bail in the latest case against them, saying that they planned to eliminate officers investigating a sexual assault on an actress in 2017.
The actor was given bail by Justice Gopinath P, who stated that the police's suspicions of non-cooperation and influencing witnesses can be addressed by imposing restrictions, which, if breached, can lead to a petition for arresting the accused despite the grant of anticipatory bail.
The following are the conditions set forth by the High Court:
Dileep is required to hand over his passport to the court.
Dileep has been requested to help with the investigation by the court.
Not try to sway the witnesses by producing two personal sureties of Rs 1 lakh each.
Any default would prompt the prosecution to take further measures, including filing a petition for arrest.
Dileep's brother Anoop, brother-in-law TN Suraj, pals Baiju Chengamanad, Sarath, and driver Krishnaprasad were all given bail by the court.
