Breaking:Conspiracy case; the HC has granted Dileep anticipatory bail | Hot News

The Kerala High Court granted actor Dileep and others anticipatory bail in the latest case against them, saying that they planned to eliminate officers investigating a sexual assault on an actress in 2017.

The actor was given bail by Justice Gopinath P, who stated that the police's suspicions of non-cooperation and influencing witnesses can be addressed by imposing restrictions, which, if breached, can lead to a petition for arresting the accused despite the grant of anticipatory bail.

The following are the conditions set forth by the High Court:

  • Dileep is required to hand over his passport to the court.

  • Dileep has been requested to help with the investigation by the court.

  • Not try to sway the witnesses by producing two personal sureties of Rs 1 lakh each.

  • Any default would prompt the prosecution to take further measures, including filing a petition for arrest.

Dileep's brother Anoop, brother-in-law TN Suraj, pals Baiju Chengamanad, Sarath, and driver Krishnaprasad were all given bail by the court.
