Breaking News : Goods train derailed at Aluva, canceling many trains | Hot News

Following the derailment of a cargo train at Aluva railway station yard in the early hours of January 28, rail traffic on the Shornur-Ernakulam corridor was thrown into chaos.

Due to trains in both directions taking turns through the available single track, a dozen trains have been canceled as a result. According to a senior Railway official, the derailed train was transporting cement from Tamil Nadu to be unloaded at Aluva and Kollam railway stations.
