The Central Government provided the High Court with a sealed envelope containing the reasons for the refusal of broadcasting authorization to Media One.

The central government responded that the decision was based on intelligence agencies' reports. The reasons for the denial of approval could not be revealed, according to the Central Government.

According to the Center, the Supreme Court has ruled that if permission is denied for security grounds, the reasons should not be made public. Natural justice violations are not to be considered in national security cases. The interim injunction permits the transmission to continue.
