Babu is lifted by army crew using rope; food and water are provided

The army squad has begun using a rope to lift the youth imprisoned in the Cherad hills of Malampuzha. Babu was given food and drink by the crew on Wednesday morning, according to reports. He will be retrieved safely in minutes, according to one of his buddies. The rescue mission is said to be in its latter stages. Following the rescue, he will be transferred to the hospital.

The rescue mission is being carried out by a 30-member crew. For the assignment, they will be split into two squads. Babu's pals have joined the team as well.

Babu and his two buddies left on Monday afternoon to explore the Koormbachi highlands. Despite the fact that his companions abandoned the excursion in the middle, Babu continued to climb the heights. He became trapped in a crevice about half a kilometre from the top of the hill, according to reports. From the top or bottom of the slope, it's difficult to see him. Babu talked to his family on the phone until 7.30 p.m. on Monday. His phone, however, became unreachable later.
