As a woman falls off a train, prompt response from a Kozhikode youth helps her back to the life

A Kozhikode teen's quick action saved the life of a woman who had fallen off a train on Sunday. Jishna, a Kottayam resident, fainted and fell from the Parasuram Express while walking to the restroom. In the Palakkad district, the accident occurred near Pattambi railway station.

When Minhath, a young man from Kozhikode's Vadakara, saw the fainting woman, he tried but failed to catch her. The woman was injured when she fell from the train. Minhath yanked the emergency brake chain and brought the train to a halt. After informing the co-passengers, he descended and raced to the woman. Jishna was brought to the train with injuries to her forehead. She was dripping blood profusely. Some passengers suggested that the woman be brought to Pattambi station and then to the hospital on the same train. Minhath, on the other hand, believed it would take time. He came across a car parked in front of a house close to the railway track.

He rushed to the vehicle owner's house and told him about the incident. In the car, some of the onlookers drove her to the hospital.

Meanwhile, Minhath attempted to open Jishna's phone in order to see if she could alert her friends and relatives. The attempt, however, was unsuccessful because the phone was locked. Fortunately, Jishna's friend phoned her after a while. Minhath got Jishna's brother's phone number and told him about the situation.

Jishna is having medication, according to reports, and her condition is improving. According to experts, the choice to rush her to the hospital was critical. Jishna's siblings called Minhath to express their gratitude for his assistance. Minhath also expressed his joy at assisting someone who was in need.
